Lunar Snake Design
These 2025 coins feature a striking portrayal of a snake, a symbol of wisdom, transformation, and protection in Chinese culture. The reverse design portrays a coiled snake on the ground beneath hanging leaves. The Chinese character for ‘Snake’ and the inscription ‘Year of the Snake’ are clearly displayed, along with The Perth Mint’s traditional ‘P’ mintmark.
The obverse of the coin bears the Jody Clark effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, along with the monetary denomination.
