This coin is struck by The Austrian Mint in Vienna, in which her first issue was in October 1989.
Philharmonic Design
The obverse depicts the great organ in the Golden Hall in Vienna’s Musikverein Concert Hall, the home of the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra. The border of the coin features the words “Republik Oesterreich” on the top. At the bottom of the coin, the denomination “1 Unze”, the purity of the coin “999.9”, the year of mintage “2016” and the face value “100 Euros” is indicated.
The reverse displays the popular design of the Philharmonic bouquet of instruments. The border of the coin features the words “Wiener Philharmoniker ” on the top.
