24 karat Pure Gold

Rand Refinery gold bars are refined to the purity of 99.99% fine gold. Each bar is 24 Karat gold, with the weight, in this case 100 grams and the finest 999.9 stamped on the obverse of the gold bar together with Rand Refinery logo and the serial number of the bar. The reverse shows motifs of a mother and a baby elephant.
