Its background features the twin Mexican volcanic peaks Popocatépetl and Iztaccíhuatl. To top it off, the weight “1 onza”, purity “.999”, year and metal content “Plata Pura” are highlighted on the top part of the silver coin.
On the reverse of the Prior Years Mexican Libertad Silver Coin 1oz, it shows the Mexican National Shield surrounded by various coats of arms used throughout Mexico’s history.
